About Us

The Kentuckians Chorus is the Lexington, Kentucky chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society (BHS).   The BHS headquarters is located in Nashville, TN, and the organization is comprised of seventeen (17) districts.  The Kentuckians Chorus is a part of the Cardinal District, which contains chapters in Kentucky and Indiana, and which hosts regular competitions and workshops throughout the year.

In addition to competing at the district level, The Kentuckians Chorus is highly regarded for its active involvement in the Greater Lexington Community.  The chorus produces two “big” shows annually (Christmas Show and Summer Show), sings at multiple sporting events, special performances and entertains for nursing homes and a variety of philanthropic events.  For more information about hiring The Kentuckians Chorus for your special event, click on Hire Us.
