Are you a high school or college student?  Are you male?  Do you love to sing?
Then don’t miss the first annual Kentucky Youth in Harmony Festival!
When: Saturday, May 12.  Arrive between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. to sign in.
Where: Northeast Christian Church (990 Star Shoot Parkway, Lexington, KY) [map it]
Why: Because real men sing
Experience the thrill of singing a cappella harmony with hundreds of other young singers.  No preparation required!  Each singer will receive three songs in the morning and rehearse them throughout the day for an evening performance that will also feature several other ensembles.  Guest director Adam Scott, music specialist for the Barbershop Harmony Society, and award-winning collegiate quartet Instant Classic (see video) will direct the workshop, offering world-class a cappella techniques and concepts. Lunch will be provided!  The evening performance begins at 5 p.m. and is free and open to the public.  Instant Classic 
All workshop fees are covered!  This event is sponsored by The Kentuckians Chorus in association with the Harmony Foundation and the Barbershop Harmony Society.  Because of their support, all you need to do is register for this event and show up on May 12 ready to have a good time.
